I suggest checking out the night prior to this show (03-17-05) at The Annex in Madison, WI. I find it much more entertaining than this show, the recording quality is fantastic as well. If you happen to get it, the first "J" is great. The 3-18-05 show is still very good, however.

Subject:
setlist info
As commonly noted for tND setlists, J refers to when Jamie is improving or jamming to no particular set melody. These are usually, and should be, included in the tracks around it. It is really annoying to track the show where each "theme" is introduced. If you did that you'd end up with 20 some odd tracks, each only a few minutes long, which makes it really hard to stream the show and enjoy it for what it is, fluid breakbeat music.
This on stage recording sounds really good, with Dan coming through nicely in the mix. You can hear Jamie shouting out commands throughout the show. Wind over the Crickets is a nice treat off the shelf, and into Deep Sun is off the hook. Other highlights include the Glide>Orbit>Glide, Homewrecker and Wannabe>Back Off>VL Tone, per usual. Always good to have the headphones bumping to the bass!

Great show/recording!
This recording sounds great. Sometimes onstage recordings do not have balanced sound (i.e. you cannot hear a certain insturment) and always have poor vocals. But this one came out great! Thanks a lot!
The show itself was one of the better New Deal shows I have seen, especially set 2.

Great Recording
I wish there were more onstage tND recordings - this sounds great, thanks for taping/uploading.

Fan-frickin-tastic
This shows biggest positive attribute is its sound quality. the on stage mics sound great especially given the terrible accoustics of the venue. this is up there with the best tnd recordings i've heard. its also a plain solid show with energy to match the size of the crowd. grab it, madison too.
